The countdown is on for Fashion Fiesta’s 7th show!
The countdown has officially begun for Fashion Fiesta as we celebrate the 7th show! On the 7th March 2025 at Victoria Hall in Saltaire our team will be showcasing all of the incredible talent of the independent designers, makeup artists and models who are partaking this year.At 7pm the show will start and our guests will be able to see everything our designers have created. The clothes are all sustainably sourced and available to purchase. There will also be a raffle for guests to partake in with lots of exciting prizes on offer. This show is being partially funded by the Shared Uk Prosperity Fund!
Now that Fashion Fiesta has been running for a fantastic 10 years, these shows have become an exciting day for everybody in Yorkshire who has an interest in fashion and design. The shows have been getting bigger and better every year and we are hoping for this to be our best one yet! On the 7th March 2025, Fashion Fiesta will be presenting its 7th show in the historical Victoria Hall in Saltaire. These shows have such a positive community impact as we all gather together to enjoy the talent on stage in such a beautiful location.
The purpose of the fashion show is to showcase the creativity of independent designers and other creatives, like models and makeup artists. All of the funds raised will be put towards 8 fully funded workshops that will happen throughout 2025. These workshops aim to provide skills and experience to up and coming creatives and help them to build their portfolios. We hope that they will be safe spaces for emerging talent to gain skills and advice as they begin their fashion career.
With over 60 models, 9 makeup artists and more than 20 designers, the stage will be packed full of creativity. Each designer will be competing to win the title of Fashion Fiesta’s 2025 winner.
The judges will each be scoring out of 100 based on certain criterias. Each criteria is worth 20 marks, and each criteria score will be added up to see what the score is out of 100. At the end, all of the scores will be added up in a secret location to calculate the final results.
This year’s judging panel includes: Charlotte Meek from The Stitch Society; previous winner and fashion designer Andrea Benahmed Djilali; fashion designer Zara Elizabeth and CEO of Fagborun Limited Bolu Fagborun. Everybody is really excited to get involved and see all of the designs and unique clothes that will be presented.
Fashion Fiestas fundraising has been really successful in the past, raising money that was donated to lots of different charities, including One In A Million, Simon on the Streets and Peers Support Yorkshire. And many more. This is why we are so positive about our fundraising this year for the creative workshops we are putting out this year.
Fashion Fiesta is receiving money from the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund to help fund this year’s show!
